QA
BeyondFS wanted to migrate their website to HubSpot, making it the perfect opportunity to refresh the overall look and feel. As part of the project, we also reworked several key areas — including the homepage, about page, case study listings and detail pages, blog listings and detail pages — while introducing a new approach for both the service and featured topic pages to help increase overall engagement.
Outline
As design lead, I partnered with the project manager to plan workloads and keep the project on track. I guided the entire design process — from setting the visual direction through concepts and building the UI design system to shaping component functionality and visuals, and finally preparing polished designs for developer handoff.
My role
Working closely with a member of the strategy team, we mapped out improved content structures to reflect the clients needs for the updated pages, including opportunities to extend user journeys.
Wireframing
Building on the client’s strong existing brand, I looked for ways to expand and elevate the visual style. This included introducing subtle background gradients, using colour to distinguish content types in the shape of the case studies and blog, and refining the use of the circular device from the logo to create a more cohesive look.
The main focus of the design was to establish a clean, minimal aesthetic that feels modern yet approachable. A key part of this was the deliberate use of white space, especially on high-content pages, to give the layouts room to breathe. By carefully framing the content, the design not only improves readability and comprehension but also encourages users to engage more deeply with the material.
Design
The end result is a smooth, balanced experience where the content really does the talking, and the design simply makes it easier to follow along. By keeping things clear and focused, users can find what they need quickly, enjoy browsing without distractions, and feel more connected to the content.
